Chef Aran Goldstein

For 20 years, Aran Goldstein has been immersed in the world of cooking, teaching, and exploring the relationship between food and the human experience.

Born out of an innate love of food and travel interwoven with his challenges of childhood obesity, his mission to help heal the world’s broken relationship with food is in full force.

Aran is a graduate of Northeastern University and the New England Culinary Institute. His experiences have spanned boutique hotels, Farm-to-table restaurants,  stints in Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy, and opening a restaurant in China.  Aran has taught hundreds of cooking lessons, from an organic farm cooking school to Medical students learning food as medicine to his online Course, The Family Food Reset.

Becoming a father inspired Aran to leave his restaurant life behind and dedicate himself to reforming the way we feed kids and ourselves. He began filming simple cooking lessons in his home, which led a friend to ask if he’d move to Italy to build a school lunch program.

From Italy, not now to Austin, he has opened 3 Real Food School Lunch Programs and counting, gaining praise, especially from Moms, both relieved and inspired by Aran’s dedication to providing a deeply nutritious, delicious meal that kids rave about.

Aran’s work proves that not only is change possible, it can be easy. We just have to decide to make the shift. One school, one community, one home at a time.
